Stig Jansson

Stig Jansson is the Chief Innovation Officer of Grøntvedt Biotech AS, a Norwegian biotech company at the forefront of marine lipid research and innovation. With over 30 years of experience spanning biotechnology, clinical research, and industrial development, he holds a Master of Fisheries Science in Biotechnology from the University of Tromsø.

Stig is passionate about advancing the science of marine bioactives — from Omega-11, Omega-3, and other marine lipids (phospholipids and carotenoids), to other marine nutrients — bridging cutting-edge research and large-scale industrial production to deliver innovations in real-world health and nutritional solutions.
