Dr Sanjeev Sharma

Dr Sanjeev Sharma is a practicing Integrative Psychiatrist. His treatment philosophy combines Eastern and Western medicine principles and he believes that everyone is unique and should be treated as such. Dr Sharma’s emphasis on lifestyle, dietary and individualised treatment plans have helped many people overcome Addiction, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and other psychotic illnesses. 

Dr Sharma’s early training was in India but has been in Perth for nearly two decades.  He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2011.  He is currently in the process of completing the Fellowship in Addiction Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians (RACP), the Fellowship of Australian College of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition. 

Dr Sharma has worked in various capacities in Public Hospitals, Perth and is now a practicing Integrative Psychiatrist at Abbotsford Hospital in Leederville, Perth in Australia.  His passion in using alternate complementary therapies along with standard medical practices stems from his deep interest in Meditation, Mindfulness, and the importance of diet and nutrition.
